Thirty-six of the world’s top high school science students have been tracking the course of an asteroid as part of the 55th annual Summer Science Program (SSP) at ��������app. The students, from 14 states and six countries, attend college-level lectures during the day and then measure the speck of light from the near-Earth asteroid during the evening.

More than 300 ��������app students and local volunteers will travel to Mexico, as part of , helping the under-served in Ensenada this spring break, March 8-15. Potter’s Clay, a student-organized service trip that started in 1977, is one of ��������app’s longest-running traditions.

Violinist Lalia Mangione of Belmont, Mich., earned a $10,000 annual music scholarship to study at ��������app for winning the Music Guild Competition on March 2. Seven high school seniors performed before a panel of judges in ��������app’s Deane Chapel. The other six musicians won smaller awards.
