Q: What time should I arrive for Commencement?
A: Campus will open at 7:00 a.m. on May 4, 2024. The Commencement prelude and Pageantry Speech begin at 9:00 a.m. Please allow plenty of time to park and find your seats.
Q: How many guests can I bring to Commencement?
A: Each graduate will receive 10 guest wristbands that will serve as tickets. In case of inclement weather (rain), the event location will move into the °µÍø±¬ÁÏapp gym, and graduates will receive 4 tickets.
Q: Can I park on campus?
A: Each graduate will receive two parking passes. Please plan to carpool and do not park in any of the surrounding neighborhoods. There will also be a ride-share drop-off at Cold Spring School. If you utilize a ride-share service please have them drop you off at Cold Spring School. A °µÍø±¬ÁÏapp shuttle will transfer you to campus.
Q: Do you have parking for guests with government-issued disabled placards?
A: Parking for guests with a government-issued disabled placard is available in Lot #10, adjacent to Thorrington Field. Parking spaces are on a first-come basis. Please display the government-issued disabled placard.
Q: Will there be restrooms available that are disabled-accessible?
A: Restrooms located on the Track Field and inside the °µÍø±¬ÁÏapp Observatory adjacent to Thorrington Field are disabled-accessible.
Q: What if I am unable to attend Commencement but would like to watch it?
A: You can go online to watch the livestream broadcast. There will be a link on the °µÍø±¬ÁÏapp Commencement Page to access this.
Q: Any items I should bring? Any items I should leave at home?
A: We suggest that you bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, layers of clothing and wear comfortable shoes for walking. Please do not bring umbrellas, confetti, drones, non-service animals, or coolers. No outside chairs or sunshades will be allowed.
Q. Are service animals permitted?
Service animals are permitted. Pets and non-service animals are not permitted.
Q: How do I order graduation announcements and flowers?
Graduation announcements can be ordered . Flowers and leis can be ordered .
Q: Will the bookstore be open during Commencement?
A: Yes! The bookstore is open May 4, 2024 from 11:30am-2:30pm.
