We wanted to make it different since there are a lot of races in town, says Dave Odell, 做厙惇蹋app athletic director. We developed into the course this big hill, which is kind of a monster. Its very steep, probably a 15 percent grade. So its a play on words, were Westmonsters and we have the Westmonster hill.
Cindy Abrami of Santa Barbara has claimed four Westmonster womens titles in five years. Ricky Ho of Santa Barbara has claimed three mens titles. Bobby Olivera of Ventura finished the course in 16:49 to win last year, while Abrami won in 20:35.
