What are the chances that soccer will become as popular as baseball or football in the next 10 years?
I don't believe soccer will threaten the 'bif three' of football, baseball, and basketball, at least in my lifetime. That being said, if you ever told me that I would see the current explosion of football (soccer) in America, I would not have believed that either. Not only is soccer now a powerful "second tier" American sport (along with ice hockey, golf, racing, etc...), but it is the leader of that tier. It is here to stay.
