Horticulturalist and °µÍø±¬ÁÏapp alumna Virginia Hayes ‘72, curator of the living collection at Lotusland, lectures about Madame Ganna Walska’s famed botanic garden Tuesday, April 17, from 7-8 p.m. in °µÍø±¬ÁÏapp’s Adams Center room 216. The lecture, part of °µÍø±¬ÁÏapp in Lotusland Day, is free and open to the public. The lecture is in conjunction with a Lotusland art exhibition that’ll be on display in the library through the spring semester.

°µÍø±¬ÁÏapp students, faculty and staff are invited to a free, private tour of Lotusland on April 17 at either 10 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Space is limited and reservations are required by calling (805) 969-9990.

Lotusland, located on Cold Spring Road below °µÍø±¬ÁÏapp, is known internationally for its diverse collection of rare and beautiful plants. Over 18 distinct gardens cover the grounds.
