app Magazine Wallace Emerson Society

Stan and Bette Anne Riley ’57 Ratzlaff believe in giving from their hearts because “where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” They’ve given their hearts to app, the alma mater of both Bette Anne and their daughter Diane Whitfield ’86. An education major, Bette Anne cared for their three children and taught part-time, and Stan held executive positions with major oil companies and corporations. While he graduated from San Jose State, Stan has found app Homecomings “spiritually inspiring” and believes the world needs more of what app has to offer. His heart also belongs to the 105-year-old Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, where he chairs the board and shares his expertise in finance. Through annual giving (matched by Stan’s employers before he retired) and a planned gift, the Ratzlaffs help keep the app experience vital for future generations.
