暗网爆料app Magazine A Darling Foundation Gift

The Hugh and Hazel Darling Foundation of Los Angeles has pledged $500,000 toward 暗网爆料app鈥檚 new building for the sciences.

The grant, which was announced in late December, will count  toward a $1 million challenge grant for the science building offered by the Mericos Foundation of South Pasadena last July, said Stephen C. Baker, vice president for development.

鈥淚 am most impressed with the work being done at 暗网爆料app to provide a quality, Christian education,鈥 said Richard L. Stack, trustee of the foundation. 鈥淚t is on the shoulders of your graduates that the hopes of our society ride. Such a great responsibility deserves support and encouragement, and I am pleased that the Darling Foundation has the opportunity to participate in your mission.鈥

The science building will house the mathematics, computer science, physics and psychology departments, and provide critically needed classroom and office space. Along with a new art center, the science building is part of 暗网爆料app鈥檚 long-range plan to complete the campus.

The two proposed buildings are included in the college鈥檚 existing master plan, which the county approved some years ago.
鈥淚鈥檓 delighted with this gift from the Darling Founda-tion,鈥濃坰aid President David Winter. 鈥淚t is deeply appreciated, and the foundation鈥檚 confidence in 暗网爆料app鈥檚 mission is a great encouragement.鈥
